2026 Equitable Cities Collab: Cities for People & the Planet

$200.00

We’re launching our second year of the Collab!

Join a community of global practitioners and doers that will meet online several times a year to discuss the challenges and opportunities that cities face in becoming more equitable and environmentally sustainable, and how we can move the needle faster together.

  • What: Three 90- minute online sessions:

    • Thursday March 26, 9:00 AM ET | 2:00 PM Central Europe | 6:30 PM India

    • Tuesday, June 16, 9:00 AM ET | 3:00 PM Central Europe | 6:30 PM India

    • Thursday, October 8, 9:00 AM ET | 3:00 PM Central Europe | 6:30 PM India

  • Topics that we are considering are below… but we’ll also get your ideas and input to pick our topics!

    • The impact of AI on building equitable cities

    • Wealth-building in local urban communities

    • Urban development that prioritizes mixed incomes and affordability

    • Green economy strategies

    • Urban public education and its impact on local economies

  • Participants will receive a few readings and videos to review in advance of each Collab. Nothing intensive - just some background information for reference.

  • Maurice Jones and I have partnered to facilitate these sessions in the most engaging and collaborative way we can. Our plan is to apply the following format:

    • Succinct overview of the topic of discussion, including key themes and a few global case studies;

    • Facilitated group discussion to share ideas, knowledge and peer-learning.

    • Structured community-building and networking among participants.

  • The goal is for the Collabs to be financially accessible and open to practitioners around the world. We don’t want cost to be a barrier, so this year we are offering three price ranges based on what our community feels is accessible. We also welcome you to contribute in-kind support (i.e. presenting a case study, researching for pre-reads, design skills, etc.)

    • $200 Suggested Full Price

    • $100 (Use discount code 50%COLLAB2026 when purchasing)

    • No cost (Use discount code NOCOSTCOLLAB2026 when purchasing)
